MY STORY
25+ years of experience working for large public companies, founding and growing companies from scratch as well as developing more mature companies into successful acquisition targets. I have done CFO work for 20 years either as the CFO or as a division CFO. In addition, I have done sales and marketing, manufacturing, business development so I get the business side. I have seen that if I put my attention and energy into a problem, solutions can be found.
Businesses have been technology oriented, one way or another. Software delivered as on premise licensed or SaaS: solving big data problems; addressing user interface and engagement; recurring revenue management. Digital imaging and cameras. Automotive sales and marketing; on-line and sales franchise operations. VOIP phone systems. Video games.
Large companies: Ford Motor Co., Motorola, IBM, Nokia, Ericsson, EMC.
Smaller companies: PhaseOne, TouchWave, 3DO, Dealix Corporation, Merced Systems, Practique, UserTesting, Aria Systems, Aircraft Technical Publishers, CaseBank Technologies.
Founding: Co-founded two companies that made it (PhaseOne and TouchWave) and some that were deemed not to be viable and thus discontinued to not waste more time and money.
I am from Denmark; have lived in Silicon Valley since 1998; done business in the US, Canada, Western Europe, Australia, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
